Consumer Price Index. China, 03:30 (GMT+2)


At 03:30 (GMT+2), March data on the consumer price index in China will be released. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services (food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on). It has a significant impact on the decisions of the national financial regulator on monetary policy. It is expected that the index will remain at 0.9% YoY and decrease from 0.6% to 0.3% MoM.
