At 08:00 (GMT+2), British data on the Consumer Price Index for April will be released. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country which determines the change in the level of retail prices for a particular basket of goods and services: food, transportation, utilities, healthcare, etc. It has a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. It is expected that the Consumer Price Index will increase from 7.0% to 9.1% on an annualized basis and from 1.1% to 2.6% on a monthly basis.
