At 08:00 (GMT+2), the August data on the consumer price index will be released in the UK. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country, which determines the change in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services (food, transport, utilities, healthcare, etc.), and also has a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. The consumer price index is expected to rise from 10.1% to 10.2% YoY and remain at 0.6% MoM.
