Core Consumer Price Index. Canada, 14:30 (GMT+2)

At 14:30 (GMT+2), Canadian data on March’s core consumer price index will be released. The indicator is published by the Bank of Canada and does not consider such volatile components as fruits, vegetables, gasoline, fuel oil, natural gas, mortgage interest, intercity transportation, and tobacco products. This indicator is considered a key indicator of inflation in Canada. It is expected that the value will decrease from 4.8% to 4.5% YoY, which may put pressure on the Canadian currency.
