The indicator captures the number of all items sold by retailers based on a sample of retail stores of various types and sizes. It is an important indicator of consumer spending and significantly impacts GDP. It is expected to grow by 0.3% from –0.1% MoM and by 0.4% from 2.7% YoY. Implementation of the forecast may support the euro.
